The Leicester Counselling Centre were delighted to receive personal thanks and appreciation from the Lord Lieutenant, Mike Kapur OBE, this month, in recognition of the outstanding effort made by the team in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Director, Hannah Cooper, said “It was wonderful to receive his card and to know that our tremendous team effort to continue to provide support services throughout these challenging times has been recognised and commended”.
The Leicester Counselling Centre continues to operate remotely and to monitor the situation regarding a safe return to our premises at Lodge 1 on Victoria Park. The team look forward to getting back and being able to provide face to face sessions again, but we have to proceed with caution given the challenges that our building presents.
